Looking back to the beginning

“Ambition is the triumph of dream over certainty” Robert Brisebois
Our ever-changing world is one of increasingly complex and multifaceted markets, as well as rampant globalization. Due to the resulting competition (with varying and often unruly behaviour) and the increasing need for technical compliance, the INEXENCE team are unwavering in their motivation to constantly meet the challenges of the future, summed up in the following concept

We are building the future !

1934

Creation of the Company

The company LOPEZ was founded at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, and would later become LTP - Gabions +, with a very clear vocation: the construction of large water supply networks and masonry work up in the mountains.

1950

Expansion

This was followed by a very long period of strong expansion, with the completion of major civil engineering works on the Neste Canal and the development of ski resorts.

2000

The 2000s

Following the acquisition of Gabions + within the Groupe MALET, company director Thierry Renard developed the company across Mainland France, with projects related to Civil Engineering, Gabions, Plant Engineering and Landscaping activities.

2008

Reunion Island’s Coastal Road

After a successful project in Lobito, Angola, LTP Gabions + started work on the world’s largest pre-filled gabion project for Reunion Island’s ‘Route du Littoral’ (Coastal Road), and set up its subsidiary company LTP Océan Indien (LTPOI), specialised in reinforcement and support works based on gabion solutions.

2010

LTP Gabions + and LTPOI were bought by Thierry Renard for the Groupe MALET - Spie Batignolles, with Etienne CAUBET (Gabions Expert) and Jean-Michel L'Homme (Administrative and Financial Director) as Partners.

2013/2014

An integrated engineering consultancy

Thierry Renard, President of SAS LTP, sought to strengthen innovation and generate new momentum for the independent SME LTP Gabions +, initiating an export strategy for West Africa, resulting in contracts in Mayotte.

2015

INEXENCE Group

The following companies were bought in Reunion Island: EVE Sustainable Development, and SCEA Domaine de L'Hermitage. The INEXENCE Group was thus created, a new and innovative organisation bringing together all of the group’s different companies with complementary areas of expertise, seeking to provide customers with a fully comprehensive offer.

2016

INEXENCE Group

INEXENCE Réalisation - Africa was founded in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire) with the aim of expanding the Group's presence in the WAMU region (West African Monetary Union). Run by Laurent Viallon, another activity started in Reunion: the supply and installation of fences and access controls, together with LIPPI, our French industrial partner in Abidjan.

2018/2019

INEXENCE Group

All business activities in Mainland France were sold.

INEXENCE Réalisation - Indian Ocean undertook the vast Gabion project for protecting the dikes of Reunion Island’s New Coastal Road, and consolidated its business activity in Mayotte via various tenders for structural reinforcement.

At the same time, the group opened a LIPPI showroom (fences and gates) in Reunion Island and launched the IXKS range (different types of Gabion).

INEXENCE Réalisation - Africa benefitted from a new operational department, based in Abidjan.

With a new momentum, renewed ambitions and improved organization to ensure further development, the INEXENCE Group and team members are fully committed to new challenges. After having sold the INEXENCE Réalisation France subsidiary in Mainland France at the end of 2018, Thierry Renard and his INEXENCE Group Partners are now intensifying the development of their activities across the Indian Ocean Region and in West and Central Africa.

This new focus is likely to satisfy our customers even more. More than ever, the values of commitment, reliability, the conception and implementation of innovative solutions, and levels of expertise shared by all of the Group's employees will open up new fields of competence and added value. The INEXENCE Group's global offer is focused on solution engineering and the implementation of projects in the following areas of expertise:

Mineral engineering and Gabion Solutions: support, reinforcement, protection in coastal sites, ravines or rivers and decorative landscaping or urban development (the Gabion Fashion IXKS range)
Plant engineering: landscaping creation and upkeep
Circular economy: Recycling of materials and manufacture of fertile soil and gravel for recycling
Cultivation and production of plants : nurseries and orchards
Fences and gates: Perimeter protection and access control
Inexence Protection
The clear and fluid organisation of the subsidiaries that make up the INEXENCE Group ensures the group is highly reactive and capable of providing dynamic proposals in response to client project requests.
All men and women working within the INEXENCE Group benefit from direct and operational responsibility, thus creating the ideal conditions for ensuring both commitment to progress and sustainable service quality.
